Every once in a while I like to dabble in the children's book section. This adorable book is all about a dog, and when I started reading it to my son (4 years old) he instantly fell in love! We still have a little more to go before we finish it, but I'm happy to feature this fun book on my blog today!

Snippet:
The dog whined and looked at her hand.
“It’s okay boy, I won’t hurt you.” Lily took one more step,
knelt down, and put her hand under the dog’s mouth.
While the dog gobbled up the jerky, Lily reached her other
arm around to hold him firmly. Scott came to stand beside her. “We did it, “
Scott whispered.
Lily grinned.
“Now what?” Scott asked.
