Book Blitz: The Paleo Cardiologist by Jack Wolfson

Dr. Jack Wolfson was born in Cleveland, Ohio. His father was the first osteopathic physician at the Cleveland Clinic. The family moved to Chicago where Dr. Wolfson was raised and did all of his training. He received his B.S. in Biology from The University of Illinois with dreams of following in his father's footsteps. He then enrolled at Midwestern University for his medical school training. He did a subsequent three-year residency in Internal Medicine and three year fellowship in Cardiology. In his final year, Dr. Wolfson was appointed Chief Fellow.

After finishing his training, Dr. Wolfson moved to Arizona in 2002. He joined a large cardiology group and was elected as a senior partner in 2006. After years of angiograms, pacemakers, and other procedures, Dr. Wolfson met the woman who opened his eyes to the wellness paradigm. Dr. Jack and Dr. Heather now practice as The Drs. Wolfson.

In 2012, Dr. Wolfson opened his own private practice with the idea of providing patients in-depth information about their health and the risks and benefits of all treatments. The focus is to use nutrition, evidence-based supplements, chemical avoidance, exercise, and relaxation to prevent and treat cardiovascular disease. Patients seek his consultation from all over the world.

The Drs. Wolfson have two beautiful boys and live in Arizona. They have a rescue lab-mix named Sal. They love to hike and bike as a family. They are active soccer parents. The family eats organic food, grass-fed meats, and wild seafood. Both boys were born at home and breastfed for over three years. The Drs. Wolfson practice attachment parenting and co-sleep with their boys.

Book Tour: Summer Hearts Compilation: Shark Boss by Kathy Bosman

Hello!
Today we are going to focus on the next book in the compilation.
Check it out!

Shark Boss:
When Tara takes up a job at the local aquarium, her colleagues warn her about their harsh boss, Mr. Carter Jones. She soon discovers how impatient he can be, but she also can’t deny her fascination and attraction to him. Carter can’t stop watching Tara as she works but holds back from her because of his secrets. If she knew what he was, she would never want him. Could the reason for Carter’s moods be related to something more troubling than what’s on the surface? Tara soon discovers Carter’s secret, and it only bonds them closer. But the curse starts to take over Carter’s life, and he won’t give his heart to a beautiful woman when he can only cause her pain.

Now about the amazing lady behind this book!

Kathy Bosman

Kathy loves reading and writing even more. She homeschools her three kids, so in between unsuccessfully explaining the difference between subject and predicate or how to divide fractions, she enters an imaginary world of troubled and passionate characters whose stories take over the page. Kathy lives in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa, where the summers are hot, the winters cool, and bugs thrive. Her first published novel, Wedding Gown Girl, came out in 2012 with Astraea Press. She belongs to the Romance Writers of South Africa Group (ROSA) which has been her greatest support and inspiration the last few years.

BONUS INFO

According to the author "Tara has blonde curly hair, is well-tanned and has a muscular build (although still petite) as she likes body-boarding every morning. She has freckles and green eyes." So I've selected this face for you to put with the following interview with her. ENJOY!!!!

-->
Interview with Tara the main character in Shark Boss

1.     What is your favorite food?
A good breakfast with eggs, bacons, mushrooms, toast, the works. I don’t get it often as I spend most mornings body-boarding and then grab and go to get to work on time. If I have a good breakfast, it’s a real treat.

2.     What is your favorite past time, or hobby?
Body-boarding, although it’s more my life than just a hobby.

3.     What is your favorite book?
I love the Chalet Girls series by Lorraine Wilson. I’m a beach babe, but it’s such fun learning about women who live in the snow and ski. Skiing is similar to body-boarding in a strange way, if you know what I mean. Plus, the books are so romantic and fun to read.

4.     Who would you consider is your least favorite person, and why?
It should be my new boss, Carter Jones, as he keeps on shouting at me for nothing, but it isn’t. He’s too handsome and mysterious to hate.

5.     What is your biggest pet-peeve?
Perfectionism – harping on the smaller issues. And cruelty to animals.

6.     What is your dream vacation?
Mauritius or anywhere where the waves are good.

7.     Did you struggle to tell your author anything?
Yes, I struggled to mention my affair with my high school teacher. I felt really ashamed for falling for that jerk.

8.     What is your favorite part of your story?
When Carter tells me the truth.

9.     What inspired the title of your story?
My writer kept on thinking of shark bait. But Carter is a boss and he was a shark in the business world, plus, well, I can’t tell you anymore as it will give away the story.

10. Do you think that there is a specific message to your story, that you’d like your readers to learn?
That love wins in the end. That meeting and loving the right person can set you free of some of your “curses.” That simply loving a person is one of the greatest gifts you can give to the world. That love surpasses duty.

Book Blitz: Lady of the Flames by Barbara Monajem

Book Description:

Magic is fraught with peril—but so is love.

Lord Fenimore Trent’s uncanny affinity for knives and other sharp blades led to duels and murderous brawls until he found a safe, peaceful outlet by opening a furniture shop—an unacceptable occupation for a man of noble birth. Now Fen’s business partner has been accused of treason. In order to root out the real traitor, he may have to resort to the violent use of his blades once again.

Once upon a time, Andromeda Gibbons believed in magic. That belief faded after her mother’s death and vanished completely when Lord Fenimore, the man she loved, spurned her. Five years later, Andromeda has molded herself into a perfect—and perfectly unhappy—lady.

When she overhears her haughty betrothed plotting treason, she flees into the London night—to Fen, the one man she knows she can trust. But taking refuge with him leads to far more than preventing treason.

Can she learn to believe in love, magic, and the real Andromeda once again?

About the Author:

Award-winning author Barbara Monajem wrote her first story at eight years old about apple tree gnomes. She published a middle-grade fantasy when her children were young, then moved on to paranormal mysteries and Regency romances with intrepid heroines and long-suffering heroes.

Barbara loves to cook, especially soups, and is an avid reader. There are only two items on her bucket list: to make asparagus pudding and succeed at knitting socks. She knows she can manage the first but doubts she’ll ever accomplish the second.

This is not a bid for immortality but merely the dismal truth. She lives near Atlanta, Georgia.

 Excerpt from the book:

*Setup*
After learning of a treasonous plot, Andromeda fled into the London night to get help from Lord Fen, the man she once loved. They’re now having breakfast the next morning.

“Did you carve the figures on your looking-glass frame?” she said. As a boy, he had whittled constantly. “They seem so…familiar somehow.”
“They should,” he said with a sudden smile. “I carved it from my memories of the fairies and hobgoblins back home.”
“Fairies and hobgoblins?”
“At your father’s estate,” he said. “Surely you remember Cuff the bedchamber hob, and Heck the buttery spirit, and all the rest.”
“My mother told stories about them,” Andromeda said, nostalgia filling her again. “I must say, I like the way you’ve imagined them.”
Fen frowned at her, his smile fading, his eyes perplexed. “I didn’t imagine them,” he said. “I saw them.”
Andromeda rolled her eyes. “That sounds like something my mother would have said.”
“Because she saw them, too.”
Andromeda began to be annoyed. “Don’t be ridiculous, Fen. She made up stories based on tales she’d been told as a child.”
Fen shook his head. “You saw them when you were small. You saw Cuff and Heck and the others. We both did.”
“No,” Andromeda said. “We saw movement out of the corners of our eyes and said they were fairies, but we were just playing games.”
Fen’s expression was pained. “You really don’t remember, do you?”
“There’s nothing to remember,” she insisted, wolfing down another cream puff. “As a matter of fact, that happened to me this morning. I had the impression that one of the creatures on the looking-glass winked at me, but of course it didn’t really do so.”
“What a pity,” Fen said.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
