Cover Reveal: Between Now and Never by Laura Johnston

Today I get to reveal Author Laura Johnston's Newest book BETWEEN NOW AND NEVER!

Laura is an amazing author, so let's get to know her first:

Laura Johnston lives in Utah with her husband and two children. Growing up with five siblings, a few horses, peach trees, beehives and gardens, she developed an active imagination and always loved a good story. She fell in love with the young adult genre both through her experience in high school as well as her job later as a high school teacher. Laura enjoys running, playing tennis, sewing, traveling, writing, and above all, spending time with her husband and kids. REWIND TO YOU is her debut novel.

Also by Laura, her debut novel, Rewind to You!
(Available on Amazon)

You may be curious about what this fabulous book could be about, well here is the back cover blurb:

A convict’s daughter should never fall for an FBI agent’s son, certainly not a teenager like Julianna Schultz who is furious over her mother’s incarceration and the injustice of it all. But that’s exactly what seventeen-year-old Julianna finds herself doing when Cody Rush, the cocky son of the FBI agent who put her mom behind bars, moves into her hometown of Gilbert, Arizona.

Cody Rush—studious, principled, athletic, good looking and blond to boot—is everything Julianna hates, or so she thinks. Yet a series of ill-fated events one night brings them dangerously close, entangling the futures of two people who were never meant to be.

Book Tour: Haley's Song by Jennifer Bryce

I've actually known Jennifer for a while, we were in the same writer's group for about a year!
I even had the opportunity to beta read a couple of her other stories that she is working on, and I couldn't be prouder to say that I consider her a friend as I share with you her premier novel! Congrats Jen!!!!

Book Blurb:

Hayley’s father has a gambling problem that’s now become hers. He lost her in a bet. Now, she must either leave the only place she’s ever known or marry a man who is only interested in a servant he can control.
On the run and scared, she finds sanctuary at a ranch with seven men and one little boy. Though hired as a cook and nanny, she quickly realizes she’s found a home. With brothers, Ben and Tate, vying for her affections, Hayley starts to believe she can have a life that doesn’t involve alcohol, abuse, and gambling. But the winner of the card game has other plans.

Ed Thompson tracks Hayley down, determined she’s going to become his wife. But Tate isn’t about to allow that to happen. He’ll move whatever mountain he has to for Hayley’s safety. And when she’s kidnapped, he’ll tear the town apart to find her. But Ed has an ace up his sleeve that could end up getting Hayley killed.

About The Author
Jennifer has a brain that is never quiet (even in her sleep), she uses writing as an escape to be and do anything she can create. Plotting is her favorite thing to do in her down time. Raised in southern Arizona, she was influenced by being raised a cop’s daughter (plenty of teenage angst material there), Mexican food, and the old West. She is a busy mother to three rambunctious boys, married to her amazing cowboy, a full-time nursing student, and desperately needs a long vacation. Her biggest fear in life is to be completely mediocre.

Snippet #7 in the snippet chain!!!!

Haley’s mind seethed with anger at changing the irrigation water by herself tonight. It was their night for water and they wouldn’t have another turn for another week. All the farmers had a different day to irrigate and if they missed their turn, too bad. The muddy river wasn’t going to wait. Planting cotton in an Arizona desert didn’t allow much wiggle room. They only were allotted a few inches of water per acre for the parched land.

The chocolate-looking water swirled behind the head gate, impatient to be released on the field. Haley’s muscles strained, and sweat poured off her face as she pulled against the heavy wheel, inch by inch.  It finally turned. Chains slowly wrapped themselves around the post as the head gate lifted, releasing the water to the desiccated field. Breathing heavily she stepped back and wiped her brow with the back of her hand.  The baby cotton, about knee high, sagged from thirst. She imagined herself like the droopy cotton begging for care. Hair fell into her face as she bent over to shovel the rows clean of debris. She would sleep at the end of the field tonight. When the water reached her feet, she’d awaken and close the gate.
